New for 2009/10: Art for Life – Modular Option

Arscura’s Art for Life Program is for anyone seeking to develop or renew creative expression in life. The focus is on the development of art skills and their potential effect on personal growth and transformation. The outcomes may be applied in all fields of life, personal, as well as professional.

In the first week, free your inner artist and overcome your fear of drawing through experiencing light and darkness and four elements. In the second week, live into the world of colour through water colour painting and egg tempera while learning about seven soul types as awakeners of consciousness. In the third week, work with fundamental principles of sculpture, explore the power of three dimensions and the metamorphosis of will.

Comments from past students:

After graduating with a Masters of Fine Art I felt detached from the creative process, unable to do any art for two years. ‘The Art for Life’ program nourished my soul and allowed me to enter into a new and exciting dialogue with art. Leigh Mellor, MFA

Arscura has gently guided our group through a transformative process that has helped me gain confidence and uncover my creative self. The experience has been a profound gift. I highly recommend it. Beth Currie,Waldorf Teacher
