BIOGRAPHY- Life as Art:

In this biographical counselling training, students learn through personal journeying. Life patterns, cycles, crisis points, and identifying one's purpose in life (destiny) are studied. In this program art is used as a vehicle for process, not as a discipline to be developed.
Although there is no time limit, all nine modules offered need to be completed together with anthroposophical studies to lead to a certificate in biographical counselling. The program can be entered September, January, or April each year, an introductory weekend to biography is highly recommended.
This program has a format of three 9 week terms per year, with 6 hours in class (including anthroposophical studies) plus 3 hours homework per week. It is possible to take the biography course for personal development only (no core studies), 3 hours class per week and approximately 3 hours homework per week.
For dates and fees see Arscura current course calendar.

  • All courses create an integrated, yet flexible learning path.
  • All courses recognize the non-verbal artistic process as central to a meaningful learning experience.
  • All individual terms, courses and seminars may be taken simply for personal growth and development or for credit toward an Arscura diploma.

After our daughter passed away, we both enrolled in the Arscura program. Week after week, through artistic process we came to face ourselves and our deep grief. Two and a half years later, we have come to terms with our loss and are able to move on with our lives in a more enlightened way.
