Art for Life - Four year part-time program
This path focuses on the
development of artistic skills and their application to healing
and transformation. The course is for anyone seeking creative change;
physical, spiritual, mental or emotional.
Upon successful completion of all requirements of the four-year
program, students receive a diploma. The first two years of this
course also fulfill the requirements of foundation studies for
an art
therapy
diploma at Tobias School of Art, England (assessment required).
New course starts in September of each year. The program has a
format of three 10 week terms per year, with 9 hours in class (including
compulsory anthroposophical studies) plus 6-8 hours homework.
Admission is through interview and presentation of portfolio. Prospective students must be willing to engage in art as a path
of spiritual, social, and personal development. Participation in
an introductory weekend is highly recommended.
For dates and fees see Arscura current course calendar. All
courses create an integrated, yet flexible learning path. All courses recognize the non-verbal artistic process
as central to a meaningful learning experience.
All individual terms, courses and seminars may be
taken simply for personal growth and development or for credit
toward an Arscura diploma.
